Character Notes For The Unfamiliar: A tall, muscly warrior from a secretive order sworn to fight his world's virulent and infectious blight, which creates zombie-like creatures called darkspawn and results in near-apocalypses every few hundred years. He helped stop the last one with the only other surviving Grey Warden in his country. He would rather not talk about his family. He's mouthy, as compassionate as he can be under the circumstances, a little awkward, full of feelings, and so tired. Aside from specific darkspawn- and Blight-related abilities, he's trained to be able to stop the use of magic.
World State Notes For The Familiar: Happy to plot alternate world states including AUs, but my default setting in the absence of other plans is that Alistair wasn't romanced by the HoF, remained a Warden, and (if we're past that canon point) didn't get left in the Fade.
