The Joining was most certainly on my list of things not to speak about, for the record. I've been party to two blood magic rituals, interestingly enough, and had forewarning for neither. At least becoming a Grey Warden wasn't as bad as them making my phylactery.

I'm actually beginning to wonder if perhaps there's not anything inherently wrong with blood magic, so long as you stick with your own blood.
