If we tell anyone the joining ritual or the guaranteed short lifespan bits, Kaisa might kill us. She said she would and she sounded very serious. Otherwise—whatever it takes to stop him. If we're in trouble for it later, you can say I made you.
The Joining was most certainly on my list of things not to speak about, for the record. I've been party to two blood magic rituals, interestingly enough, and had forewarning for neither. At least becoming a Grey Warden wasn't as bad as them making my phylactery.
I'm actually beginning to wonder if perhaps there's not anything inherently wrong with blood magic, so long as you stick with your own blood.
my paid expired and i'm lazy, pretend my icon is tonally appropriate
[ Alistair's second major blood magic ritual after the Joining also involved losing his virginity (what little it was worth) to Morrigan. Unfortunately, it's not something he's willing to joke about. If only because she would probably descend from the ceiling and bite off his head. ]
Ooh, living on the edge, are we? Don't go outside during any storms. You might be struck by lightning.
It's steven valentine. It's always tonally appropriate. For everything.
There's still risks. The whole possible demon involvement thing isn't something I'd like to waggle my fingers at again. But if a blood mage could teach a blood mage after the first's demon was killed then that skips the whole mess, doesn't it?
To tell the truth, though, I'm not ready to test it. Let the one do what she knows, as she's willing to do it for others, and I'll stick to my own messes.

[His voice is lightly amused.]
